WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
CASA of the Pikes Peak Region, together with its state and
local members, supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer
advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can
thrive in safe, permanent homes. In order to further this
mission, CASA of the Pikes Peak Region may collect certain information from
you through the Sites, including personal information (i.e.,
individual information that may be used to personally identify
or contact you). Collection is done both actively (information
you voluntarily submit to us) and passively (information
automatically gathered from your computer).

ACTIVE COLLECTION
At several places on our Site, we collect certain information
you voluntarily provide to us which may contain personally
identifiable information. For example, if you make a donation,
become a member, request an invitation to join our judges
page, fill out a form or register for an event through the
site, we may collect your name, address, phone and email.
We collect similar information if you purchase an item in
our online store. You may also provide us with credit card
information for payment of purchases, donations, membership
fees or other fees collected by CASA of the Pikes Peak Region. However, credit
card information is only used to process the transaction.
In addition, from time to time our Sites may request information
as part of surveys or contests or in connection with grant
applications and reporting. If you send us an email request
or participate in our forums, we may store that information
as well.

PASSIVE COLLECTION

  1. Cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s
hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of
a cookie is not linked to any personally identifiable information
while on our Site. We use cookies to track a user’s path
for security purposes, to collect aggregate web statistics
and in an effort to enhance the experience on our Site. If
you wish to block, erase, or be warned of cookies, please
refer to your browser instructions or help screen to learn
about these functions. If a user rejects a cookie, they may
still use our Site, however they will be limited in some
of its areas. For example, the user may not receive certain
information from us and the shopping cart feature may not
    work properly.
  2. Log Files. We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer
the Site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic
