accomplishments including:
2010: Independent Newspaper's Pick for Best Local Nonprofit Leader, Trudy Strewler Hodges
2010: Recipient of the African-American Voice "John Holley Organization Award" as a community leader through service of human dignity and open minded respect for all people.
2010: The Psychological Society of the Pikes Peak Region presented Trudy Strewler Hodges with the Cornelia Sabine Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the well-being of children in El Paso and Teller counties.
2010: Executive Director Trudy Strewler Hodges accepted to the State of Colorado Judicial Nominating Commission, representing the 4th Judicial District.
2009: Voted as one of the top Non-profit Organizations by readers of the Colorado Springs Independent.
2008: National
CASA Association award for 98% compliance rate for the
National CASA Quality Assurance Process; 85% was the
national benchmark.
2005: Executive Director Trudy Strewler selected as the Ethical
Business Leader of Colorado Springs by the local Rotary Club.
2005: Executive Director Trudy Strewler named Woman of Distinction
by the Colorado Springs Business Journal.
2004: “Runner Up” for the
Best Non-profit Organization in the Colorado Springs Business
