Driving Challenge Delivers a Thrill for CASA Supporters
On June 7, 2014 CASA supporters experienced the king of all adrenaline rushes in the CASA Driving Challenge presented by Johnny Martin’s Car Central (JohnnyMartins.com).
The Challenge, under the guidance by experts from the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving at Pikes Peak International Raceway, offered a thrill to drivers through 5 driving events. including Time Auto Cross Competition, Team Slalom, Pit Stop Drag Racing, Road Course Challenge, and Hot Laps
65 drivers had a blast behind the wheel and 150 guests enjoyed the pit crew activities, after-party, auction, and “Cars of Speed” car show.

The Driving Challenge is a fundraiser organized by the Circle of Impact for CASA of the Pikes Peak Region. All proceeds support CASA’s volunteer advocacy for victims of child abuse abused and neglect.
CASA of the Pikes Peak Region serves over 400 abused children in El Paso and Teller counties each per year, but hundreds of kids are still waiting for advocacy. Our Vision 2020 is to provide a trusted, empowered advocate to every child in need, every day every year. Participation in the Driving Challenge will help us ensure the safety and well-being of more children in our community.
