2007 Drive to Thrive Ensures Safe, Loving Homes for 36 Abused and Neglected Children
CASA extends its deepest gratitude to the community for answering the call for abused & neglected children. CASA’s Third Annual Drive to Thrive for Children telephone campaign raised $72,250, enough to help ensure safe and permanent homes for 36 children.
Thank you to over 155 generous community supporters, including these great organizations: Cascade Commercial Group, Elite 25 Realtors, El Pomar Foundation/Jim Hays, Hogan & Hartson, The Gazette, Hispania News, Clear Channel Communications, KILO,
and Blakely & Co.
Special thanks to the 80-plus volunteers who made calls, and to the leadership team of Josh Waymire, Jennifer Eckels, Rob McDonald, Jennifer McHugh, and Julie Phillips.
Thanks to the support of the community, this year’s campaign has been the most successful to date, surpassing 2006 totals by more than $25,000.
CASA served 626 children in 2006, but hundreds more are waiting for advocacy in the court system. The generosity shown by the supporters of this year’s Drive to Thrive campaign will help CASA move closer to the goal of serving every child in need.
