DESCRIPTION:Training: May 16th\, 3-5pm\, CASA Training Room \nThe Inclusion Corner – Up close and personal \nEquity\, Inclusion and Diversity\, everything you wanted to ask but were afraid to. \nDescription: The topic of Equity\, Inclusion and Diversity goes beyond just ‘looking good to the public’. Real diversity is intentionally learning\, growing\, and becoming more comfortable leading and serving diverse populations. \nWe will have an interactive and meaningful training on ways to create safe spaces and brave spaces\, six steps to cultural growth\, getting rid of the “elephant in the room”\, diversity beyond race\, providing a sense of belonging and inclusion\, and how CASA can reimagine and dream big for cultural intentionality.  \nBring your questions\, notebooks\, and favorite stuffed animal to this session\, that will be led by CASA EID consultant Dr. MelindaJoy Mingo. \nPlease RSVP to Michael Maestas at michaelm@casappr.org.
