DESCRIPTION:Equity\, Inclusion and Diversity: Understanding culture\, privilege\, and oppression \n\nThe power of history and language\nCulturally sensitive trauma informed care\n\nSusan Searle is the Outreach and Education Advocate for TESSA\, a Colorado Springs non-profit organization providing free and confidential services to survivors of domestic violence\, sexual assault\, stalking\, and human trafficking. Susan brings more than 30 years of experience working with youth in both nonprofit and educational settings. As an advocate with TESSA\, she provides prevention programs to El Paso County elementary\, middle\, and high school students as well as community organizations. Susan has presented at local\, state\, and national conferences including CYDC\, COVA.
