Entrepreneurial Classes and a Teen-Run Vendor Show at the CASA office
Using the “Be Entrepreneurial” curriculum by Junior Achievement, teens will learn how to write a business plan, target customers, marketing, ethics in business, and more! Classes will be on Saturdays 1-3 at the CASA office: August 25, September 8, September 22, and October 6. Please plan on attending all four sessions as the classes build on each other. Each class will include a 30 min section on using the skills from that day to plan a vendor show at the CASA office, which will include how to plan, market, and execute the event from beginning to end! This will be a great way to build a resume and learn creative, customer service, and logistical skills, and even make some money in the form of gift cards. Meetings for planning the show will continue on past the entrepreneurial classes, dates TBD. The vendor show will be at the CASA office on Saturday, November 10th.
