Month of Hope
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.
CASA provides life-changing advocacy to the most vulnerable members of our community - abused & neglected children. Our volunteers change lives by ensuring each child's best interest is represented in court and in the community. Let's make an impact together!
Volunteer
In a given year, there are about 800 kids in El Paso County who need a CASA volunteer. Last year, we had enough volunteers to serve 657 of them. Wouldn't it be great if we could close the gap and serve 100% of the children in need? In order to do this, we need more community members to step up and become CASA volunteers. Learn more about the opportunity at an upcoming Volunteer Info Session. Click the buttons below to RSVP now or go straight to the volunteer application process.
Be Inspired
Last year, CASA of the Pikes Peak Region provided advocacy for 657 local children. These are kids like Trinity. Change became a constant in this teen girl's life after she and her siblings were removed from their mother's home in Colorado Springs due to substance abuse and mental health issues. Over three years, Trinity struggled through school while living in nine different placements. She had five caseworkers and two guardian ad litems, but only one CASA volunteer advocate. Nowadays, Trinity is a living, breathing example of the success these kids can achieve when a trusted adult is placed in their corner.
