CASA’s golf tournament huge success in first year

Ninety players on 23 teams joined CASA at the Country Club of Colorado at Cheyenne Mountain Resort on June 8^th for the inaugural Fore the Kids Golf Tournament. Special thanks to the club, its golf pro and staff, and to the many community and CASA volunteers who came out to make this first-year event a huge success.

We are so pleased to announce that the event raised $50,000 to put toward our mission of advocating for the most vulnerable children in the Pikes Peak Region.

“Like most nonprofits, CASA has found ourselves in a difficult funding environment and so we have been looking for new and creative ways to raise money so that we can continue to carry out our mission,” says Executive Director Angela Rose. “We decided to give this golf tournament a go and we’re so happy that we did because the turnout was incredible.”

The number of teams who participated, and the amount of money raised was exceptional for a first-year tournament.
