Speakers: Alex Figueroa (He/Him) is the Deputy Director, SAFE Communities Portfolio with SAFE Project. Alex Oversee’s SAFE Project’s Bridging Prevention and Recovery (BPR) program and Integrated Forensic Peer Recovery Specialists training series, a program for certified Peer Specialists who work with individuals that are justice-involved across many settings including probation parole, corrections, treatment, recovery etc.

Tracy Steffak (She/Her) As Senior Director of the SAFE Communities portfolio, Tracy Steffek is responsible for building national, state, and local partnerships that support communities in responding more resiliently to substance use impacts .
