CASA’s Supervised Exchange & Parenting Time Program swears in five new volunteer facilitators
Five new volunteer facilitators in CASA of the Pikes Peak Region’s Supervised Exchange & Parenting Time (SEPT) program were sworn in as officers of the court on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Congratulations new SEPT facilitators Holly Bradshaw, Mark Davis, Grisel Garay, Haley James, and Diana Lynn!
Taking the oath is the final step for CASA’s new SEPT volunteers after completing two weeks of training on mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, post-separation battering tactics, and other topics.
The new volunteers will now be assigned shifts in CASA’s Family Visitation Center where they will supervise and document parent-child visits when there is a court order in place for visits to be supervised.
Anyone interested in making difference for children and families in any CASA program is encouraged to sign up for an upcoming Volunteer Orientation to learn more!
