Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

Please note: CASA in-services are for sworn-in CASA volunteers. ASIST is a two day workshop that arms you with effective strategies to support someone experiencing thoughts of suicide. Minimum Sufficient Level of Care

This in-service will be located at the CASA office and will offer advocates and peer coordinators an opportunity to explore what the phrase ‘minimum sufficient level of care’ really means for children in the child welfare system. We will discuss how an advocate can remain objective when assessing a child’s physical safety, emotional wellbeing, and developmental needs.
