Board members who take their support of CASA a step further

CASA is fortunate to have an outstanding Board of Directors comprised of passionate and community-oriented individuals. Three of those individuals take their support of CASA a step further by aligning not just their personal values with CASA, but also the values of the businesses they own and operate.

GRACE COVINGTON

Grace Covington

A board member since 2017, and past board chair, Grace Covington co-owns home builder and developer Covington Homes with her husband, Ron. Covington Homes first became a major business partner of CASA back in 2019 and the company’s support was absolutely vital as CASA navigated and weathered the storm presented by COVID-19.

“We are amazed at the blessing CASA has been and continues to be to our community… CASA is truly one of the best and most important non-profits we support,” Grace said.

CASA is one of three nonprofits that Covington Homes chooses to support, and it is clear this is one company that not only builds communities, but also invests in and takes care of communities.

JENNIFER YUGO

Jennifer Yugo has been a member of the CASA board since March of 2020. She is the owner and managing director of business consulting agency Corvirtus, Inc. – a company which has developed tools and strategies to hire and retain high-performing teams. Corvirtus became a CASA business partner at the end of 2021.

“Corvirtus is intensely focused on fostering equality and opportunities for everyone to grow, belong, and flourish,” Ms. Yugo said.  “As a team, we recognize not all children are given equal opportunity to feel nurtured and cared for, grow, develop, and be accepted as their authentic selves.  The remarkable contributions of CASA in providing an advocate for the child and touching all aspects of the child’s world, create positive spirals in that child’s life for the decades that follow.”
