CASA advocates for more than 700 kids in FY 17-18

CASA of the Pikes Peak Region has served more than 700 children with Court Appointed Special Advocates during this fiscal year that ends June 30. This is up from 585 children in the previous fiscal year.

For each of these children, a volunteer advocate is invaluable. It means someone is speaking up for them in the family court system. It means someone is helping them navigate the foster care system. It means someone is in their corner.

Did you know a child with a CASA volunteer advocate finds a safe and permanent home TWICE as fast as a child without a CASA volunteer advocate?

We know there are at least 200 kids right here in the Pikes Peak Region who are still waiting for a CASA volunteer advocate of their very own. If you’d like to join the fight against child abuse, consider becoming an advocate. Click here for more information.
